I have a 22 lakefield mark III that I just picked up. The trigger assembly was in a box all apart. I can't seem to get it working ,might be missing a spring or ten. Can someone send me a picture for reference please. Thanks. randylamb50@yahoo.ca

If these gems have an Achilles heel, it's the trigger group!

I am all out of triggers, so I'm working from memory (throw the dice...). I recall only 2 springs in the assembly. A small, arched leaf spring (not pictured) that is retained by the rear trigger group screw. It puts positive pressure on sear. The other spring (shown) rides under the re-set, and is held by the same pin.

There are 2 slightly different styles, both pictured. The differences seem to be in the shape of the re-set (exploded one is older), and how the safety engages. Might also be a third one out there with no safety at all.

I cheated on the last project that passed through:

some more pics in that thread too.

It looks like I am missing one piece as I do not have the part above the longer narrow piece . I think maybe I now have parts gun. Thanks for the photo camster .

Try posting pics of yours. I no longer have those groups here, and am going from memory. The smallest part pictured might be from the old style safety. I'm pretty certain the newer models have a flat-plate stamping that actuates the safety.
