lakefeild-savage help!

i have a pretty banged up lakefeild mark ll and im wondering if the stock is interchangeable with a new savage stock? any help?

No. The old ones have a different receiver. The new ones are the E receiver. I'm sure you could make it work though

so id have to play around with the inletting or what....there arent any lakefeild stocks around are there?lol

If the markII only has one action screw you may run into trouble with the free float barrel channel. I recently put my marlin 25 into an XT boyds stock and only had to drill and tap the receiver for the second action screw to make it work. not sure about the lakefield though. I think the E receiver is slightly longer.
