I have a Lakefield 64B .22lr with a conventional 4X scope and I would like to replace the scope by a red dot that I had on a Ruger pistol.
The red dot has a weaver type mounting base and the lakefield has a conventional rail mounting system, so that the two don't fit together.
Is there some kind of base that could fit on the lakefield on one side and fit on the red dot on the other side? Some kind of hybrid mounting base?
