looking for a stock for a lakefield 64b. i havent had any success at western, wholesale or wolverine. any suggestions would be appreciated

I have seen a few on Gunbroker from time to time and if it is the same guy, he is bases out of Ontario near Ottawa so it saves some hassles with the border. I'll send a pm with a link.

I beleive you can get them from savage.
Not sure but it may be slightly different because of the safety on the new ones.

Sorry....i cannot help you there....I have never had a new product apart. The safty lever system may prove different. Also the rigidity would be better with wood.
