Anyone here know about doing a trigger job on a Lakefield 91T? The single shot heavy barrel target 22? From what I've heard, the trigger was unique, and none of the triggers made for the savage rimfires interchange, so that eliminates the swap it out option. I'm thinking they must have sold hundreds of these guns, and someone must have been modifying theirs for a lighter, crisper trigger. The gun shoots awesome, my best two groups were 0.350 and 0.370 at 50 yards, five shot groups, but the trigger could really do with some work.

I'll partly answer my own question. The similarity to the Savage rimfires that came out of the same factory lead me to look at what they do. Shimming the trigger housing downward reduces the sear engagement and trigger creep quite nicely.
