I tried a lazy Internet search and only came up with the Savage A22 rifle.

What do you mean by "straight pull action"? Do you mean straight blow back? Or is this basically a straight pull bolt action, or in other words, a neutered straight blow back?

Action locks back after every shot. Pull the lever in front of trigger guard to release the bolt.

Agreed. Why it isn't semi-auto is absolutely F*(@# baffling. All the annoyance of bolt action slowness and semi-auto jamming with none of the pew pew pew of semi.

The made in Canada aspect appeals to me and it could be helpful for teaching a new/young shooter, but I would prefer a single shot (ie Savage Rascal for a young shooter).

Depending on price, I might buy one.

Does it really matter? For a neutered semi that's slower and more awkward to manipulate than a bolt action?
