Lakefield MKII & Savage MKII

Have a customer looking for a Lakefield MKII stock and was wondering if a stock from a Savage MKII would actually fit? We don't have a lakefield here to compare but happen to have a Savage MKII in the basement.

If it's one of the newer 'E' receivers, probably not.

I don't know if it would fit the older Savage receivers though.

I think I have one in decent shape, if you were in Calgary I'd say come pick it up.

BTW, the two are different, I compared my lakefield MK II to the savage MK II and they were similar but the savage is larger and has different mounting bolt locations. I did manage to shape a Boyd's SS evolution and bed it to fit my lakefield, a fantastic ergonomic upgrade in my opinion.

Edit, I went and found it my lakefield MK II stock, it's in decent shape, a couple small dents and the finish is chipping off, but do a chemical strip, sand and refinish and it would look good, if you want to cover my trouble to pack it, drive to the canada post and ship it feel free to send me a PM.
