I'm trying to take the barrel off and having no luck. I removed the screw and fitting but she is on there good......any tips or ideas??? Does it just pull off or screw off or??? thanks!
Don't twist it..the ejector is held in the barrel and fits in a groove in the bolt..twisting the barrel will bend and or break the ejector.
ETA..it's a mossberg and a bit different but the barrel to receiver assembly is the same.

Ask me how I know..my Cooey model 64B was the first gun I owned..and you know what 14 year old kids are like..oops,sorry about that.you're absolutely right striker,i forgot about that pesky ejector.
one could also let the bolt slam forward a few times to loosen the barrel.
it's been a while since i played with one of these...![]()
Thanks!! she is soaking now in penetrating oil! I hope I can get her to stop jamming and stuff! grrrrr.....frustrating but it has never been cleaned so my bad...
I've discovered over the years that my 64B doesn't like a lot of oil on the bolt..the crud from .22 rounds really gums it up...
you will probably find a lot of carbon build up under the lug on the top of the barrel..
Where is the fun in an easy to clean rifle?a touch of powdered graphite solves that
