Lament thinking back on the days when there'd be new threads posted on this forum where members discussed their latest acquisition(s).

:(True enough. I got in, just under the wire, with a couple before 'Sparkle Socks' closed the door. I was able to pick up a mint Ruger 256 Hawkeye with a couple boxes of factory ammo. And, a Magnum Research BFR in 45-70.

On the plus side it looks like the Liberals don't have a snowballs chance in hell at winning the next election, so there is a decent chance we get to buy/sell handguns again in like 2 years time.

Don't worry, Pierre will fix it.

I am looking for a dealer to take pre-orders for new pistols! My next one will be a stainless steel Sig 1911 in 9mm.:)

.

Mine will be a 357mag wheel gun.

The gun fairies just dropped off a shiny new to me Rossi Stainless .357 16" Carbine..... been a while since I bought a Rossi and I must say this one is finished very nicely, everything is straight and it's very smooth cycling!

The way the Liberals are going, they will likely try to scare people around guns, abortion and the weather as per usual.... I think people are finally starting to see the wedge issues for what they really are, tools of division and cheap scare tactics to corral voters.

I would not be surprised if progressive city folk start considering they might have a need to be armed in some of the more viollent parts of Canada! The idea that anyone, let alone women and older people, can not legally carry pepperspray or other defensive tools in Canada is asinine.

I keep looking at the S&W 2019 Catelog I picked up at the last live North Sylva show before the big Covid fuss. A new Model 66 with the 4.25 inch barrel looks inviting, I want one. I hope we don't have to wait 2 years. I hope that February 26, next year, Jagmeet pulls the plug on his deal and the election gets pushed on Goldysocks sooner than he expected. Might not happen, but I can always hope.

Yes. We can hope. But I would not bet my bottom dollar on the CPC and Pierre Poilièvre.

I will vote for him. All right. And then, I will wait for him to make his move - if he ever moves. Meanwhile, not one token to the CPC. NOT ONE.

And why should the CPC do you a favour when you will not support them? This is always a 2-way street.

Easy enough. Because I am the one who votes. Pierre Poilièvre knows very well what Canadian gun owners want for the next federal elections - 2025 and especially 2029, yes 2029. Maybe Canadian gun owners are important for Pierre Poilièvre and, then, maybe they are not. We all will know soon enough.

NOT ONE token until Pierre Poilièvre makes his move, first - assuming that he ever makes a move, on the so called two way street. I have already given thousands of dollars to the CPC (Harper, Scheer, O'Toole), for just about nothing in return - except for the LGR in 2012. I still have some money left - some.

Pierre Poilièvre is the politician. I am the voter. And I can remember the last guy from the CPC before Pierre Poilièvre.

Erin O'Toole, the Traitor.
