Laminate stocks

Are laminate stocks as impervious to weather as far as swelling and warping are concerned as a polymer or fiberglass stock would be? I've seen some pretty pricey target rifles with them so I figure they must be pretty squared away. I guess I'm wondering about if you might experience a poi shift under changing outdoor conditions such as rain or heavy humidity.

Any other reasons except weight to not put a rifle in one?

I don't have an answer; however, I have a similar question pertaining to wood stocks compared to synthetic etc. I'm old school and just can't get into fiberglass and synthetic stocks as they feel cheap to me (hollow even! eek!). I wonder too about shift in POI in changing conditions among all stock types. Hopefully an experience rifle shooter can chime in!
