Laminate thumbhole stock for a Savage

I have a Savage 11F (centerfeed, DBM, screw hole spacing 4.4") and it seems like the only stocks I can find are for the older stagger feed models.

I was looking at the Boyd's Stocks website and saw they had uninlet Thumbhole stocks. Can anyone steer me towards a gunsmith in BC (preferably Lower Mainland who would be able to inlet this stock? I have zero skills and don't even want to attempt this. I tried modifying a thumbhole stock for a stagger feed blind magazine to centerfeed detachable magazine and absolutely destroyed it.

Why not just follow Boyd's instructions on converting the Gen 2 stock to fit your rifle???

The 3rd generation center-feed actions can be fit to our 2nd generation stocks with minor alterations. The gap of the front of the mag well will need to be “blocked” (front to back) to hold the steel magazine frame in the correct position. There will need to be a flat spot inlet to accept the rear l-shaped tab, with attention to the depth as this is a bearing surface for the action. On short action 3rd generations the front escutcheon hole needs to be enlarged so screw hole location can be moved forward approx. a 1/16th of an inch. Woodworking gunsmithing experience is suggested when converting to the 3rd generation guns.

Boyd's instructions are to convert the stock into a blind magazine. I want the stock converted into a detachable mag (as mentioned in my original post) so I thought it would make more sense to buy an uninlet stock rather than butcher another stock. I have no woodworking experience and not going to attempt it myself again. One destroyed stock is enough

Chris Wilcox in Lumby (near Vernon) does alot of stock work for Remington.

He does mail in items, The last time I checked with him it was about $130 to fit a Boyds stock to a Stevens 200. Might be a bit more mod a stock for a DM mag.
