Hi Guys

Anyone know where I can find some laminate for making stocks, I need it to be fairly thick 3-4" and 10" wide, 16-18" max length, doesn't matter about color, then I'll need another smaller piece for a forend.

Thanks!

Laminates are literally hardwood plywood. The layers are not just glued together. They get glued together under pressure with each layer's grain at 90 degrees to the others.
Lee Valley Tool$ carrie$ laminate wood$. Cheap they ain't though
Richard's Microfit, Stateside, carries laminate stock blanks. Don't know if they export. Boyd's does too.

We just ordered 4 blanks from boyds and they are 2 3/8" thick so a bit shy of what you are after, I checked out richards site and they have thicker stock like you are after.
The only thing is I am not sure if Richards will ship to Canada.
