laminated stock blank

I just went thru that same quest. I couldnt find anybody in Canada. I ended up getting one partially made by a guy in pennsylvania called Baer custom guns.It cost me 267$ US for a partially formed thumbhole stock with no inletting for the receiver. There is only a couple other suppliers I could find one being in California called richard microfit stocks. They were not as flexible to my needs as Baer though. The main supplier of stocks in the States had their mill burn down last August and have not rebuilt so supply is a bit harder to get.Google it to find the few resources that are out there. I live in the Vancouver area and nobody could help me

Rich mcrea in Saskatchewan is where I got my blanks from. He was a member on here awhile back.... And had some issues with some members. For blanks I think you would be okay dealing with him.

boyds stocks sells slabs, you will get 2 stocks out of a slab, they also sell a blank if you just want one stock. also dealt with Rich with no issue

I bought a blank from Boyd's. It was only $40 but the shipping was another $50. It's a big blank. About 3" thick. Plenty of room for creativity. I had a ton of material left over for knife making and other crafty projects.
