Lampagyar Budapest .22 rilfe ????

does anyone have any info on this rifle , it's got a 25+ half inch barrel ( bull ) target peep sight and hooded front sight , any help and I'd be thank ful .thanks Joe

I've got one of these today at the local shop. Any more info on these? I think they are from 50's or 60's...This one has Russian rear peep sight installed.

I don't have a clue about your rifle....kudos for figuring out the "search" feature!

I'm also curious how it shoots for you. I'm not trolling, or looking for trouble...East-bloc guns of that era kick a$$!

I'm not sure it's a target rifle. I've seen a few advertised as military trainers.
Btw, "Lampagyar" means Lamp Company
I hope that's not why Hungary didn't win any modern war.

I did a bit of Googling before I posted...and trainers look a bit different...with straight bolt handle, thinner barrel etc.
