Lancaster pistol videos...

Interesting. He never refers to the double barrel Lancaster as caliber .577 Boxer.
Certainly he knows more about firearms than your average UK citizen.
He speaks as if he has only read A book regards this subject. But that's just me.

Historical and beautiful firearms.

I have tried watching a few of his videos... not as knowledgeable as Ian. I am assuming he gets a lot of info from Ian.
May be he only has limited access to original source material, where Ian spends thousands of hours collecting information and traveling to aquire it.

I would say you are correct. Keep in mind he is the product post Hungerford generation of civil disarmament.
His parents and grandparents were perhaps of the generation wildfowling, overseas safari plus Bisley was still a huge event amongst shooting enthusiasts.
Thier collective corporate knowledge is slipping away unless recorded for posperity.

Edit: No one else calls a Lancaster/Sharps derringer or Cop four shot 357 a revolver however the mechanism works.
Niether should he.
