I have been hunting the controlled hunt at my sisters property for years and to this point have never been denied a validation tag. Recently her husband got his hunting licence and will be able to fill out the landowner form that guarantees his validation tag. I was wondering if I'm eligible to be put on that form with him as a brother in law. My sister would be considered a landowner too and everything I read says an immediate relative of the landowner. Although I have downloaded the form and in fine print it says immediate relative of the "applicant." I have read arguments saying no I wouldn't be allowed and others saying they're inlaws get approved every year. Just not sure if they get passed legally or just a lack of monitoring of the system. Anyone know for sure who is allowed? I would rather continue applying in the open draw for the validation tag than have my name approved for a guaranteed validation tag if its not technically legal. Thanks for the help.
