ok i just picked up a new savage 12F/TR.and was wondering if it would be a good thing to pick up a set of abrasive coated bullets for polishing the bore.there is a kit in brownells,you get 50 bulletstotal,with 5 different grits.
put a couple hundred rounds through it first. Use several different brands and weights or handload to find out what it likes first. Firelapping with abrasive bullets, can really push a throat forward. Use only as a last resort. IMHO
