Lapua 170s out of your 308 rifle....

I have used them exclusively. They are outstanding shooters, very accurate and worth every penny. I have shot likely 10K of them out of my AIs. I can not say enough positive about them.

The gentleman I purchased my Wichita target rifle said these performed very well in it.
I have a big pile of Scenar 155s. I think I should stock up on these 170s, and do some handload experiments.
Some shooters claim they get the odd flyer out of otherwise perfect groups with this heavier bullet. Any truth to this Morpheus?

maybe this is just an excuse for a pulled shot........
 
I`ve burned through about 500 factory loaded versions or so out of my AI and they run neck and neck with the 168gr Federal GMM I used to run. I have the odd group that appears to have a flyer, but I`m not shooting as much as I used too and I attribute it to me more than the ammo.

I have never heard of lapua bullets of any sort causing flyers. News to me. I suggest you go shoot a bunch and find out. Great bullets and great performance.
