Anyone fire this stuff, I know the club ammo has, saw it on here a while back. Looking to see if its worth the money , and if available on the east coast. Range results compaired to other ammo...
Thanks

Some of the less expensive Lapua shoots very well in some rifles, even better than the more expensive stuff. I've tried most of the less expensive labels up to some of the mid priced stuff. The "club" and "trainer" are excellent in my Sako so I have no reason to spend more.

I have not tried the hollow point. Try Hirsch Precision in NS. Very good to deal with.

From here on out I'm only using Lapua Super Club in my custom 10/22. I found it shoots exceptionally well in my rifle and has ended my search for great performance at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend it.

thanks for the spread sheet:)

Fricking expensive, defies the point of owning a .22 for me. Mine shoots well enough with Federal American Eagle ammo (.3 inches).

Lapua Club = $37 / brick
Super Club = $41 / brick

Depends on what you are using it for. If it is just to see how fast you can empty a 25 round mag then any ammo will do just fine.

But you always have an option to use better ammo.

I shot some of this Lapua High Velocity HP many years ago but I keep record of every ammo I test. In my Sako Finnfire, I got an average of .339'' at 50 meters for 5, 5-shot groups. Smallest was .287'' and the largest was .384''. For high velocity hunting ammo, it was extremely accurate. I also tested this ammo in a Remington 541-T HB but this rifle was not very accurate. I got an average of .76'' with the Lapua HP ammo (smallest group was .53'', largest .94'')

Hope it helps,

Paul

We sell the Lapua ta the club for our .22 competitions, as well as Fiocchi Target, CCI SV and Green Tag. The Eley usually makes an apperance as well.

As far as I can tell, the Lapua is very consistent stuff. The Master M will shoot one hole groups at 50 yards with my CZ452 without a problem. It is very popular, but the Lapua Standard Club bulk packs are the BEST value for the money as far as im concerned.

I bought a case of Super Club a few weeks ago, and have been trying it out in my accurate 22 rimfires. It has shown itself to be very good ammo indeed. [5-shot groups] My 541S shot .226, .228, .308, .201 at 50 meters. My 541T sporter shot .188, .222, .201, .256 at 50 meters. My Mossberg 44US shot .277, .298, .364, .299. at 50M. My most accurate 146(b) shot .443, .502, .421, .399 at 50M Even my My 151k [semi auto, tube fed]shot .788, .679, .804, .877. at 50M. My 541T has shot better only with one lot of a certain ammo no longer available, so I'm pleased with this purchase. Regards, Eagleye.

Shooting Edge had a good selection of target ammo last time I was in. Peter at Hirsch precision out of NS. is a great guy to deal with mail order.
