LAR-15 bulletin from RCMP.

Can anyone post the LAR15 bulletin from RCMP that can be used to educate LEO's before they commit a seize and arrest on the range. I can only find the ''new'' special bulletin number 72 and that thing is incomprehensible if you don't have firearm knowledge.

The magazine capacity limit for semi automatic centerfire rifles is clearly stated as five. Without the RCMP's explanation that a magazine's classification (legal or illegal) is based on the firearm it was originally intended for (not what it is ultimately used in), the rules *seem* to support that position for those who don't know better. You'll find fudds everywhere who will try to tell you it's illegal.

The problem is that L/E does not know what is legal and not legal ; and you risk punishment by process if L/E " believe " that you have illegal mags . With lawyers charging from 200 to 500 dollars per hour ; legal fees can mount fast .
