I went to reliable gun today and saw these nifty magazine couplers for lar-15 mags.

What do you think?

Neat. I was thinking of making something along those lines. Do you know who makes them?

Sushix2, I must have been standing right behind you when you were looking at them... I handled them at the same time.

Interesting, but, the cost makes them on the prohibitive side for me... $25 sure, $50? Mmmmmm not for me.

They look to be well made.

I was there today too. They looked very well made to me. CNC machined. At first I looked at the tag and thought it said 4.99, and I went to reach for my wallet. But then I saw it was 49.99. A great idea and well made, but a little rich for my blood. It would cost me $200 to outfit my mags.

Hi guys, I'm the one who designed it. The wedge angle is at 13 degrees to make the two mags, Lar-15, look similar to the blocked 30rds mags. It is called " P.P. Coupler." P.P. stand for patent pending. Yes, it is CNC milled from aircraft aluminum. As for the price, the Samson Mac couplers is also CNC milled but cost is $59.99! It only couples a total of 10 rounds from the blocked 30rd mags, sad. I have future plans to put two, yes, two P.P.C. together with a total number of 40 rds. attached to you favorite toy, legally. I do recommend if you were to drop the mag out in the heat of a tac shoot that you bounce it off you leg from preventing the lip from being damage. It is not hard to do, nothing is fault free. I sure some of you will like it, some will criticize it. You can't please everybody. For anyone that bought one, please let me know what you think about it, thanks for purchasing it and please tell your friend about it.

Even if its not for everyone good job coming up with it and getting it out there for people. You don't really know how well a product will do till its on the market were people can bye it.

I'm working on it! I appreciate the appreciation. My resume: 1) P.P. Coupler 2) Mini Moose 3) Tavor rail 4) multi room tent from the eighties for Woodard's and Sears 5) How to find Real Estate Below Market Value book from the nineties, etc.........Oops, got to go. My wife is calling me, talk to you guys later.

Are you the one who designed the Mini-Moose? I didn't know that. Mag couplers that replace the bottom plate in AR magazines are $13US and they are a very old thing.

No, I did not know that it was already in the US. My life is not in the internet but flipping Real Estate is. Firearms are second and the internet is about 7th on my list of interest. It seem like no body that I know have seen this coupler before except you. I'm not trying to put you down or sound angry. I've made $1100 yesterday on the P.P.Couplers alone. The total time of sale and transaction was only, roughly , 45 minutes. I don't believe in working hard but working smart. Regardless what the US is selling it for, it doesn't seem have any effect on my sales. Anyways, yes, I'm the one who design the Mini-moose. I originally purchased the gun as a DPMS Kitty Kat. It didn't work so good so I got it change to what it is now. The year of conception was 1999, yes, 1999. I myself didn't like the name. Before I could give it a name, my friend Terry called it "Mini-moose" and the word got out before I can stop it, so now you know. I still don't like the name! When I have the time I will post some pic of the original. Kelly at DVC Ventures will back my up on that. You can ask him. It is so old that the 8.5 inch is almost completely smooth bore. I stop count rounds after 12,000. By the way, do I know you?
