LAR 15 Mags in an FS2000

Am I legally able to use my LAR 15 mags in my FS2000? I have them connected together with a coupler so they are long enough, but is this O.K. I had been told yes.......but now I wish to confirm.

You can legally use the LAR-15 magazine in any rifle that will accept them. That they were originally designed for the RRA "LAR-15" pistol AR has no legal bearing on the matter when it comes to what firearm they are ultimately used in.
