any practical use of expanded laser beam in tactical or defense situation?
blind your target? non lethal way to de escalate situation?
I'm asking this because handheld lasers are so powerful now, they produce enough energy to blind you even with a dispersed beam,
like this whopping 2W handhled laser, of course 2W=2000mv and your typical firearms laser sight is usually less than 5mv.
