Large Magnum pistol primer ok?

I just bought some clays powder to do up some light loads for my .44. Is it going to be OK to use the Large magnum primers I have on hand for these loads?

For a light load, I'd have no problems using them. In fact, I do use them .
Its when you approach max loads and start subbing in different stuff that really bad things can happen .

Technically, a little over kill but not a problem. They'll be fine.
