I've got a rather nice low magnification scope on the way for a black rifle type project, and I'd like to pair it with a really solid set of rings or mount system. I like the reviews I've read of the LaRue stuff, and like what I see on their web site. My problem is availability.
Does anyone know of a dealer that regularly stocks LaRue gear? The one dealer in Canada that I know of took two weeks to respond to my e-mail, and simply said "Sorry I don't have any". No indication of what he does have in stock, no suggestions of alternate items he has or might be getting that would do the job, no suggestions for another supplier...I'm sure you get the picture.
Since this dealer obviously doens't have a whole pile of interest in my business, does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could source the LaRue products? I guess if I can't find a Canadian dealer, I'm probably looking at purchasing ARMS throw lever mounts or something similar from Wolverine or TSE. At least I know that those two dealers are always willing to treat me like they're interested in my business.
I also wouldn't mind finding a source for a throw-lever type riser mount to fit under an N-cell Eotech. I'd like to go from a 100% co-witness with irons to a "lower third" co-witness.
