This came up on my Crackbook page & since we could use an actual discussion-instead-of-slamfest thread, thought I'd post 'bout it.

Since we all know LaRue gear is basically un-obtanium for us in terms of Uppers, Lowers and completes. Feast your eyes on this purdy lil unit. Another piece of Uber-un-Obtanium LaRue gear we can't get.. :bangHead:

LaRue can get bent. They have specifically stated that they could care less about the Canadian market. There are lots of home grown options for you that don't involve supporting a company that doesn't want your business.

I'll give my money to red China before I spend it with any la-te-f**king-da American company that thinks they're "too good" for the Canadian market.

We'll see how fast Mark applies for export permits when Obama bans AR's in his second term (and yeah, both ARE going to happen).

I'd put it another way, his "plate is full" with MIL contracts, and his own sales in the US.His OBR is a top contender in the AR .308 market, I'd rather buy from him than Questar, that's just me though.BTW he is a registered exporter, if he didn't give a s**t, why do all the ITAR paper work?

If you could earn a very good living in your own town, why would you go overseas?
That's just an analogy.

I don't think he will do anything, not without risking civil unrest and many states will simply say no.

I got tired of waiting for stuff anf getting ripped of with all these mythical import charges.

Yeah, good point.

I mean, look at all of the "civil unrest" and "states that simply said no" that took place in 1994 when they instated the AWB.

Get real, bud.

It's going to be nothing more than a bunch of fuds with an internet connection whining about "how this could have happened".
