I had a question for the more experienced rifle shooters...

Are the laser bore sighting systems any good? ... if so at what distance would you synchronize your scope with the laser dot?

Thanks,

They are a bore sighter only... they will put you on the paper at 25 yards. You are not going to be able to sight your rifle in with a laser bore sighter.

Logicaly it works but won't give you a zero in because the fight path of bullet is different. That say you better zero in with your scope and your favorite ammo.

Great for getting you 'on paper'...but sighting in is best done, as others have said, with some of your favourite ammo, a good rest, and a proper target.

I am not a fan of the laser boresighters. I have a cheap tasco boresighter that I use to get me on paper. Sighting in is best done on a bench with a couple box's of ammo like everyone has said before me.
