Weapons designed to blind are against the Geneva convention.... but will that stop people from using them?

Any 1w laser will cause perminant blindness in under .025 of a second... that is faster than the human blink reflex.

If you shot such a lasergun at a reflective surface, would it bounce back and blind you?

Indeed it probably would.... it would make an amazing anti sniper weapon, as you would not want to be looking down a scope when you got flashed...

Thats all we need. There are already stupid people pointing lazer pointers at airplanes, I could only imagine if they had their hands on one of these.

I think it's only against the Geneva convention if they declare war.

Hell I heard the same thing about using anti armor weapons (.50s) against people, yet they do.

Honestly for me, it's a lot of hearsay, and since Im not in a war (or the military) I dont educate myself on that aspect.

And yeah. There are lasers that can blind, there are numerous stories from vets about this kinda stuff.


The 2nd/3rd gun looks like a TOY based on the HALO universe though.... Just sayin.
