Laser Question???

Now i know that the commercial grade laser weapon systems we have available to the general public are weak at best. We seem to be blessed with another color now. green. I must ask before i go and buy one here. what would be more visable at what distance?. Does any one know or have experience they wish to share with me please...

Green lasers are awesome, the green laser pointers are so visible that you can often actually see the beam of light, not just the point as with red lasers. They sell some pretty powerfull ones on ebay that make for great fun at night with the kids.
