Laser rangefinder

I have the Leica and would love to move up to the Newcon. If they will measure out to 2000 yards on a regular basis, they are worth every penny. I get so frustrated with the Leica, one time they work and 10 seconds later they won't measure the same spot I just measured. If you buy the newcon give us a report. GW

"I want to upgrade, not downgrade"

then why are you looking at Newcon?
The LRB 3000 pro can range up to 3000 meter.

The real question I'm asking myself is how much farter then the swaro can it range a yote or fox on a sunny winter day. In those conditions the best I could get with my swaro on a fox was about 500y and 650y on yotes:(

Thats pretty much exactly the max distance I ever have to make a shot. Hollows, trees and vegetation limit the distance to less than that usually.

How much do you want for that Swaro?

Cheers

Hell! I have ranged coyotes at 800 m with my "cheap" Bushnell 1500! LoL

Give me a break, if you can't get by with a Leica or Swarovski. If you are going to take a crack at an animal at 3000m you are out to lunch, not to mention complacent. If not you can get by with the two mentioned....Many get by with much less and do quite well.
