I wonder if this is the right forum? I just bought a husky M98 from TEC in 8x 57 mauser. I ordered a laser sighter from ebay in 8x57 mauser also. I plan to use the laser for preliminary scope sighting in. My question is this, will the 8x57 laser also work in the 9.3x57 mauser? I know they are both based on the same cartridge but is the shoulder angle the same? Are the laser held in by the shoulder or the extracter? Thank you for the help.
