I'm looking to Get a Laser Sight preferably a Laser Light Combo (but just laser would be fine if it's a good one) That can be Used on the Rail of my Hand Gun but would also be able to put on the Rail of my AR if I wanted to but mainly for the hand gun I would possibly buy another one later for the AR.
So any suggestions or reviews on One that you own or tried? Green or Blue I would only get Red if it was a Really good deal my price Range is anything Under $200 but for the right price and quality up to $350

Save your money on the laser and get a reddot sight for the AR and ammo for more practice with the pistol sights.

Any laser I have tried failed horribly in normal light conditions. They wash out WAY to easily to be seen. They look cool and if that is what you're going for then go nuts. But for actual usefullness, a rock is more effective.

This is just my opinion based on my observations. It's your money, if you want one go nuts.

The only time i could see it actually being useful is in a very dark place at 7 yards or less where you cannot get a proper sight picture and your life depends on it. Other than that just get more practice with your irons.

Personally I have been eye raping the viridian CL5 ( or was it C5L?) but it has a green laser that you can see in the middle of the sahara sun. I think wanstalls has them.

Problem with laser's is that when you sight it in it is only accurate at that range. Laser's are great tools for pointing at targets but as used as an sighting system they fail. Although the look cool factor is there. I strongly reccomend green as anytime it works great and is visible. Red washes out in the sun and blue is hard to pick up in the night. As for the best value for your money there are some real nice high end unit's out there but if you want something cheap and works check out deal extreme dot com. Other wise time to save up and get an insight.

Oh! a lateral offset! I get your point.
I agree that if one's setup require mounting it on the side (crimson grip, side rail, etc.) it becomes a little less accurate.

If you mount your laser under your pistol or under/over your rifle, you only have a vertical offset, as usual.
