Im tossing around the idea of getting some form of laser sighting on my beretta 96 for the hell of it. Anyone varify the quality of manufacturing of CT lasergrips? Do they fit on the gun like they should? Operation by squeezing grip seems like an easy excessory to use.

How about the M6 laser/light combo's ? Do they get in the way of your two hand shooting grip? If you have either of these products, let me know what you like/ dislike to help aid my decision...thanks

Does your Berretta 96 have an accessory rail on it? If it does, I don't see the M6 getting in the way of anything. Heck, even if it is a guard mounted model, I can't see the M6 getting in the way of a proper two handed grip now that I think about it!

As for the laser grips, they cost about as much, but you don't get the light.

Ya I got the rail and the light seems like an extra added bonus, not to mention I could slide it off my Beretta and right on to my P99.

The grips do have the advantage of being discreet which I like.

The grips are pretty neet-o, but I think that the tac-light would be the better way to go. Like you said, you could swap out the accessory without too much trouble as opposed to having to spend twice the amount to cover two pistols with laser grips.

I have an M6. IMHO a laser is just a toy (unless you are using night vision in some sandy place) but it is good fun sometimes. I have used the M6 and a Lasermax on Glock's and I like the M6 since you get the light.

But as I said it is just an expensive toy - arguments as to how lasers are so practical blah blah don't really convince me. It it were me I would spend the money on night sights and some ammo!

Those laser grips don't seem to be looked upon kindly by many people here...there's a recent thread where they bashed them pretty good.

I don't know about all that, but I'd go with the light/laser combo if you have the rail anyways...you have it so you might as well make use of it!

I've tried the lasergrips on my 92FS. under flouro lights the red dot was easily visible 25 metres away, it's a great dry fire practise aid, as the dot will tell you wether you are holdign the gun steady or not. They seemed quite well made and comfortable to use, I passed on buying as I don't carry so they wouldn't be worth the expense to me.
