if we are gonna do a monthly "Wet Coast, M-14 men's only support group" can we set the cycle to correspond with the full moon?
That would work best for me ....

I'd be interested since I have one on the way but is there a place for a noob at something like this? I mean other than knowing how to shoot them I know very little about how firearms work but I'd love to learn more.

this "support group" is FOR noobs like us :D It's a good way for us to have some fun, meet some cool folks, and as a group, wade through the misinformation out there and...... play with our rifles :D

At the last clinic on dec 2nd there were guys there that didn't have thier rifles yet, but i'm sure they learned a few things. Noobs and Gurus are both invited to attend hehehe :D

I am so happy that you fellas are networking like this. I'll be joining all of ya in August 2008. I'll bring the tools....

Whohooo....now we REALLLLLLY gotta find a M14 friendly range....
Bit O' incentive, 'tween now and the summer..

we need to get some cool "Lower mainland M14 support group" t shirts made heheehe..... my wife thinks i'm starting a new club :D

If we get a reserved day at the range, we could expand into restricted stuff. I could teach a tech course on inspecting, maintaining, and building the AR 15, Colt Govt pistols, and Ruger revolvers.

Of course, we don't want to be hauling scary stuff like that there to Thom's house, or else the Surrey Police are going to think they ghave ANOTHER terrorist group to monitor, this one NON-denominational, and send a few undercovers to keep an eye on us.

Wait a minute ...
at the last meeting, we did NOT ask everyone what they did for a living ...
for all we know, they could already be amongst us.

I'll bring an extra roll of tinfoil to the next meeting ...

LOL laz is wearing tinfoil.............Well you all know I am the machinist!
And that sounds like a good idea laz, Maybe if the group gets more serious or becomes somewhat more intune - I think it will become pretty serious!

Take care

Well I sure hope my marstar unit shows up by then. I did learn a lot and would love to headspace this one from marstar too, then I'll know which one to flog!LOL Also I kinda missed out on that bolt disassembly lesson as it happened so fast. So if there's room and you don't mind re-treads, I'm in! Thanks. Pete
