Wow! I didn't know they had cannon shoots. Have you ever chronographed one of those balls passing by? I imaging you'd have to anchor your chronograph pretty good and put it a good distance down range so the blast didn't send it flying.

DMAY's cannon ball looks like a 35mm film case. In solid lead!! Anyone want to donate a crono to test velocity? Building a cannon with a 60 inch piece of sch 160 pipe that a popcan will fit inside, snugly. Fill popcan with concrete, launch. Natural progression from a spud gun.
