With the border wide open after two crazy years I attend the KKUSA reunion and enjoy good company, German wartime vehicles of WWII, trail rides and talking vehicles around the campfire with a few beverages in the evenings.

Nice I didn't realize how tiny they are and how uncomfortable it looked driving and getting in and out of. Saw close ups on youtube of one on a Austriallian war
Equipment musium .
Sorry for spelling errors. Oh Ausfest was on yesterday and todY as well on youtube. Thanks again for sharing

Thanks Coyote and Desert Fox for the kind words on the posts. In reply to Millwright the little 166 at 2006 lbs and with all four wheels driven plus the smooth boat like underside is pretty much unstoppable off road. Getting in and out can be difficult but nothing to trying to mount a Ford GPA which is way more involved and while the GPA has good size for driving or passenger the rear seating is tight.

Rather gawky and clumsy looking on land but handles well in water.

Since I first started looking at military vehicles (at probably 3 or 4 years old) I’ve always thought that the Schwimmwagen were the coolest vehicle ever made, on either side of the conflict. Great photos of them still alive and functioning. Thanks for those!

Thanks but with 4 jeeps two bobcats and a excavator awaiting my attention there is no way I could swing it
