In video: "Mosin Nagants... admittedly been issued to some second line Russian units in Ukraine.."

Hold my beer while I quickly scroll from the last days videos because I see those originally sniper MNs from time to time at captured RU front line positions. In the last week I saw at least two. Most of those were issued to units that were placed in Kharkiv region. Several drones videos from Kharkiv offensive how RU soldiers armed with MN could not do a single shot before they are slaughtered from AKs and M4s from close distance. These days I don't see MNs too often, but they still happen to pop-up. Video below is actually also from Kharkiv region.

MNs were never issued to second line troops, this is logical assumption and Russian army is not very logical. They were issued to front line troops they put together from mobilized men from occupied parts of Eastern Ukraine. Kind shows the RU attitude towards those men.
