I like to know when was last year of production of Winchester Lever 94 and how much was the price of one brand new in the last year of production??

I found a 2001 wholesale sport catalogue and the mod 94 plain wood was 519 the checkered wood was 539. I would questimate they probably sold around 560 or so in 2006.

Thank you this is the answer that I expected.

One more question: is any diference in quality between rifles produced from 1964 and 2006?

1964 brought the cheapening of the winchester rifles, stamped metal parts instead of machined parts, less hand fitting etc. Around the mid 70's tolerances tightend up and quality improved some. Then came the lawyers and the rebound hamer was brought into use, no longer a half #### safety this brought a terrible trigger with a lot of travel. Once the travel was taken up not too bad though. Later came the crossbolt safety better but still a solution to a nonproblem re the half #### safety. Personally I have a 1942 mod 94 30wcf and a big bore 356 with the rebound hammer. Both are good shotting rifles and a joy to carry, but the difference in the workmanship between the 2 is obvious.

So my '82 trapper is about as good as it gets for a production post '64?
