Latest build pic: TRW GI M14

Here's the latest M14 build, just together today after fresh parkerizing. Everything on it is USGI with the exception of the stripped Norc receiver, and everything with the exception of the trigger group is TRW (trigger group is HRA). Everything is minty now, looks absolutely new...

I have it on this side as the dummy selector isn't done yet...

I dunno... Probably costs more than a new M1A!

I'm most pleased with the park darkness, and the mintyness of the USGI stock and handguard, to the best of my knowledge that's still the original GI finish on it, and it gleams like it's been waxed. Nicest USGI stock I've yet found.

Did you do the park job yourself? I think mine will need a re-park in the somewhat near future.

I am not so sure ....M1A's around here are around $1300 U.S. and you have a better rifle than the current crop of M1A's.
I have 4 of each and just recently added a Federal Ordnance ,yes I know the horror stories on these but I bought it for "All the USGI parts" that were on it .
The Chinese rifles are good stuff and you should buy as many as you can while they are so cheap ! We in the U.S. are jealous .

BUM, no a buddy did it for me.

I figure there's about $3000 in parts, the labour I didn't do myself, and finishing in it, cost me less, but still cost a good deal.

You sure? Last I checked Marstar is constantly sold out - often entire shipments are pre-sold before they even arrive in Canada.
