No not really, but now that I have your attention. I finally completed my long awaited new project. An AR upper in 204 Ruger. I've been waiting since November for the barrel from Brownells but it finally came in this week. Sweet! Got her together the other day and now I just need to check headspace and she's ready to go.

Specs:
DPMS High Ride Competition Upper
DPMS 24" 204 Ruger barrel
Double Star Handguard
Firefield 8X32x50 Scope
Raptor charging handle
Daniel Defense Full auto bolt carrier (pic shows my spikes tactical NibX one since it was sitting on my bench)

It fit perfectly tight on my Vltor lower. I'll be building my own new lower for this once my 80% AR lowers show up.

Now if the rumours of the AR possibly becoming NR, this may actually be used on prairie dogs and yotes!







 
Looks sweet! I know that came fluted from DPMS but does anyone know if there's a shop in Ontario that could flute barrels?
 
Thanks for the sweet comments. I knew what I wanted it to look like when I decided to build a 204 Ruger upper and so far I couldn't be happier with it. Just need to shoot it now. Don't know when that will happen right now due to a lingering injury in my neck. At least it's ready and I can start on my next project. Some 80% lowers and a new upper in 6.8SPC.
