Latest upgrades done...

....but still more to do.

So this AR started out mating a CMMG lower and a LMT upper that had a KAC M4 Carbine RAS and front sight post.


First evolution was removing the RAS, FSP, delta ring assembly and install the KAC URX rail. This required grinding down the FSP quite a bit, including removing a bit of the bottom as well.

So I ran that way for the last little while.

Once we received the Cadex lowers in stock, then I realized more change was coming.

The Cadex lower got a Daniel Defense lower parts kit put in it and the Redi Mod switched over from the CMMG lower.

The grip got changed from Ergo to TDI however, that will probably be switched back.

Changes still to make to it include the grip as mentioned and a new brake.

...But seriously, what kind of optics were you using before? And how do you like the change, pro's? cons?

I was using both the Aimpoint Comp M4 and the Micro H-1.

I prefer the PST 1-4 for two main reasons. Easier hold offs on longer shots and I don't have a 3x mag to put on and off.
