That is a Mcdougal lathe, made in Ontario. Very good lathe, very good deal if it is in even decent shape.

Yep, made in what is now Cambridge but that is one of the earlier model before any vdf contamination. They were known for their "exceptional construction", aka the more cast iron the better. If I had a workshop i would be all over that thing. Hell, I would need to go through extreme measures to get it in my garage & I don't have the juice to power it & its still taking all I have to ignore that add. I have a smaller tool room conehead Mcdougall that has been beat to an inch of it life.
