While shopping at my local Canadian Tire I saw a rifle on their display that gave me pause. I laughed and took a picture as the worker walked up and asked what I was doing. I pointed it out and was told that he was a firearms expert and it was correct. I'll let you all be the judge of his expertise

I'm glad it's not just my area lol
My wife wanted a 9' shade umbrella for the deck. 4 local Canadian tires website said they had it in stock the color she wanted. I went to the first as they listed 6 in stock. 45 mins of waiting they told me it's an inventory error and they don't have it but said another store did. I drive there and same thing. I call the other store they say they have them. I drive there to find out they don't have it either so I go to the 4th store for the same experience. I ended up coming home with a different one because after wasting a half tank of gas I wasn't going home empty handed
I do enjoy carrying an axe or machete up to the gun counter and asking for a pack of ammunition. They have to walk it up front for me because it's to dangerous to carry thru the store they say. Then I always ask why I can carry actual weapons around the store. It's usually a quiet walk up front lol

At CT, ask the clerk bringing your ammo to the til, ask to see their PAL . . . most don't have one!

At to the magazine issue, a demonstration would be appropriate. Get some dummy rounds and have him/her show that it works. If it works in that configuration . . . "I will buy it"!
