i have to choose between 2 rifles.

savage 10fp(searching an old 10fple2, wich have a 26"barrel)

if theres a difference between these 2 rifles, what is it?
wich one will be the best precision choice?

Hi, I have the 12 fvss in 223 now since six month and i'm very happy with it....no extractions or feeding problems and very good accuracy out-of-the-box. I dont know alot about the Law enforcement series but both seems to be very good for the price and they are tack driver....like you'll see, mine is not picky about what I put in it.....from the Winchester ''White Box'' cheap stuff to the most expensive stuff, mine shoot them all from 1/4 to 3/4 @ 100 when I do my part.....most of the time, it shoot alot better than I can I'm pretty new in precision shooting so I expect to be better with time.
Note: two other grooping of 3/4 and 1 inch ....my fault!

'Law Enforcement' is a marketing term. Just like 'tactical'. Those two are the same rifle with different finishes.

An extra "stud" that I won't use and the loss of 2 inches of barrel, and reduced velocity, isn't worth the extra money IMHO.
