In need of one for this seasons waterfoul hunt! looking for recomendations on something resonably priced. I live around london ontario so local would be great as shipping might be a pain on something that big?

We've used a number of layout blinds. The one we're using now is a sit-in rather than layout. Not appropriate for every location, but they are much more comfortable.

And you're less likely to shoot your toes off. .

The other thing we do hunting along a rocky shoreline is just use a hunk of foam cushion, prop ourselves up against a rock and throw a grey blanket over our legs. Staying still and breaking up your outline is more important than being completely hidden.

I have owned several over the past decade. Of all of them the best so far in terms of weight, folding down, ease of set up in the dark reliability and price has been my Final Approach Sport Utility Blind ( S.U.B). It is going into its 8 th season and is still in real good shape and it has seen a lot of hard use! It is the original style not the new S.U.B and I believe they still make them. Mine is in field brown( khaki). Paying extra for camo is a waste, you can't see it once it's stubbled up anyways and if you need to go with a bare blind for a mud field or sandy shore camo sticks out! The brown blends. That's my .02 worth for what it's worth.
