Layout Boat for Ducks

Looking at buying a layout boat for duck hunting next year. Anybody have some suggestions and website links to canadian dealers.

Ron Banks has an excellent line of Canadian made duckboats, including
layout boats. Located on Lake Erie, near Port Rowan (Long Point), Ontario.

Big Guy: Layout hunting is actually quite comfortable.
Been a lot colder coyote hunting in January !

Dad used a layout, skulled boat for years in Manitoba.
it was a Chesapeke bay design IIRC.
He would look out our window sometimes, watching the sleet, rain and snow going right sideways, and be muttering, "yup, just about perfect...."!
The man was an amazing deer hunter, crazy accurate in the corn for phesants, but duck hunting was his passion.

he kept a kennel of champion dawgs ( labs of course), and would rather duck hunt than do just about anything!
Does this constitute a hijack??
