I met a fellow in 3Gun several years back, and now he is into Lazer engraving metal, wood, ect All sorts of stuff.
He does some mind blowing stuff.!!
I asked him if we could do something Fun with this old Tokarev.
I polished the old Turd up nice , then handed him the slide and let him do his Magic.
several passes were made so its nice and deep. Shows up really well. Very happy with it.

Now the gun is worth millions !....or not.

I like it , but it doesn't matter what other people say.
It's your gun you do whatever you want to do.

Usually custom engraving of that sort lowers the value of a firearm but I think in this case you doubled it's value! :)

Looks slick and I am sure many people can imagine all sorts of fun things to engrave.

What is the translation of "James Bond" in Russian"? Internet says... Джеймс Бонд
Having his name on the other side of the slide spelled in Russian might be fun.

Internet didn't lie to you.

But if you want to be funny - I'd actually go with something like "Вася Вексель" instead.

"Vasya" being a common name, similar to James.
And "veksel" - "debt note" (a joke on "bond" as debt security). In this context, however, it would sound like a criminal-style nickname. Given that TTs were very popular with mafia in the 90s - seems appropriate.

Then, probably, the number should be changed to 777. Alluding to a very well-known cheap brand of portvein. (rumours being, this number is how many seconds the liquid will need to dissolve a brick).

I like it, I had a old 1911 beater done up by a great old school engravers, with scroll and flowers, turned out great and reblued after was done.
If you did the Sk gun show few yrs back, you may know who did the work.
