LBA Body Armour!

The company is based in the UK. For them to export to here they require an end user certificate.

Everyone with a PAL would then be a qualified end user by our laws, is that not good enough for those UK folk?

And if it isn't, then we shouldn't be supporting them at all. No one should buy any of their products, & anyone that would buy it must feel that they are better than their fellow citizen.

Yes, is the simple answer. LBA International Limited is a UK company and observes the export licence demands of Her Majesty's Government. Obtaining an export licence can take time, the Company understands these procedures and will request the Buyer to provide specific documentation such as an End User Certificate in order to process the application as quickly as possible

That does not say LAW ENFORCEMENT only,......what are the specifics of the EUC?

Yes I am persistent and if something I want is a good price I'll press forward until I get it or hit a brick wall getting there.

Thank British Columbia for banning body armour for civillians

Not banned, restricted. PAL or special permit required. Please do not post incorrect statements like such. ;)

"These can only be sold to Law Enforcement, Military, EMS and Security Personel. "

Theres the future boys, no BA for anyone in any province unless you are LE or a criminal.

peasants like us don't require protective clothing

From where is that @law enforcement only@ requirement from ? is that a law in ontario?

BC, Manitoba, Alberta, and NS BA is banned but BC and ...ah....humm...Alberta I think its still ok if you have a firearms license. The other 2 no way....cant have it.

they wont reimburse you for your loss either

There will be others I can sell to but for now I know I can sell to those groups. It also says to contact us if you are unsure or have questions does it not.

Quality amour is hard to find and I had to work hard to get this. Will I be able to sell to everyone, no, but at least it's a start. We discussed people that want to wear them on the range, that probably won't be an issue but I'm not going to make promises until I know for sure

As well LBA has to abide by UK export laws.

Fair enough for now, but please let us know ASAP on your progress as misinformation seems to be pretty rampant now days. That said, your efforts are greatly appreciated by those of us who support you with our orders.
Thanks again Ryan

id figure we are part of the "risk" if we are frequent to ranges... dont get how those companies dont see it as a possible range safety piece of equipment....

There is a law coming into effect in Alberta, that you do have to have a minimum of a PAL to purchase BA.

So what does one do with these plates?
Are there some sort of industry standard vests or carriers that these plates attach to?
