Trying to find the worth of a LE bayonet for friend's estate. My camera is toast so here goes. I don't know much about Bayonets and I have tentatively identified it as a MK.II Lee Enfield/Metford Bayonet, made in March 1900, issued to South Africa, oil/clearance hole is in the pommel; rear rivet is closer to the pommel. One side of blade is marked "Arrow, Crown, B over 35 and X", otherside marked "3.00(March 1900?) Sanderson,Sheffield". The metal handle edge is marked "U" on one side. Scabbard has "2217" stamped in the backside of the leather piece. Was I close with the I.D.? Blade is discoloured in spots but no rust or pitting. Wooden grip has chip on one side. Scabbard is in good condition with some marks. How much would this be worth?
