It's for pests and casual blasting of various junk. I am a recoil junky haha. I have zero interest in hunting. Besides lead is only banned for use over water IIRC.
The only thing close would be some turkey loads.....
No sir, lead shot has been banned for all waterfowl hunting since about 1997 or thereabouts within this country!
There was just one year of grace for field shooting at least 200 meters from a named water body. Long gone friend.
lol
no problemothanks for educating, while i disagree with the law it doesn't bother me as i'm not much of a hunter. Just pests, dollar store junk and paper for me. It does make it hard to find anything but steel though.

10 gauge made a comeback in popularity when lead shot was banned for waterfowl, thanks to people wanting a usable goose gun, but especially in the light of the current situation with ammo, I'll bet that means there will only be steel shot available for them. Reloading may be your only hope.
A friend of mine was cursed with a 10G when he was a kid and he used to load and fire his dad's 12 G shells in it, had to carry a screwdriver and/or pliers to get them out afterwards. But maybe a magnum 12 in your 10would satisfy your need for recoil? NOT that I'm recommending it.
Even if you did reload the 10ga as I do finding BB lead shot is just about impossible now
No.4 buck is about the only smaller one I can find now to do coyote loads
I scored some 3.5" 2 1/4 oz 4x6 duplex loads through the EE. They seem impressive, too bad stuff like this is so hard to find.
How many #4 are you fitting into a shell?
